Iain,

We were there over the labour day long weekend. There were a number of sedans, and even a caravan. Just be careful on the way in, there is a steep section that's a bit slippery when wet, but you should not have any problems.

The campsites are quite nice, try to get into the first loop. We went for a walk in the forest, and friends did some canoeing on the river - all in all a good place to relax. We'll go back there.

G'Day Iain, Sedans are OK but trailers and caravan are not permitted as the track is steep in places and very slippery when wet.
Enjoy your stay

Hi John, have they changed the rules since last October? We went there with our camper trailer and there were several others camped there with trailers also. The sign on the way in said not suited to buses and caravans and basically enter at your own risk. It was very wet/muddy when we went in but the track was in good condition.doc.

It is only a reccomendation that camper trailers are restricted because of the steep nature of the road, but as you rightly stated camper trailers are regularly at the site.
Caravans are definately restricted.

Hi Iain,

Yes we went there early last year in my old Commodore VX Wagon which is even quite low to the ground. Took it easy and got through no worries. It's an awesome spot but will be very crowded over easter. Get in early if you can as the sites fill up quickly. Enjoy!

Thanks for the replies guys much appreciated,

I do have a few more questions though:

Is there like a mountain bike track or something there?
Or 4x4 tracks?
What's in the area and how far is it from a town? (hope it's quite far, similar to honeymoon pools in collie)

All input is much appreciated...

Iain
