I was surprised at how much detail can be put into a map like this , the reverse side has alot of background info . A newbie can
use this to plan an itinerary .
GPS info is a great idea , as an old school navigator I would liked to see a relationship between map , true and magnetic North .
Still , I could get around with just this map and a compass .

Hi
Keep in mind the map is 1: 1,000,000 scale so not that suited to "old school navigation" eg. the major tracks are shown as lines nearly 200 metres wide. Any bearings calculated from the map would be plus or minus a few degrees - probably similar to any variations between grid/true (same on this map) and magnetic north.
Cheers
