Final up date to post I.D. 8075/7964. Thank you Darryn, you nailed the problem I was having with my HF set. I ended up taking my HF set to a techo repairer, who programmed the unit for the VKS-737 channels & installed my selcall No. We can now transmit ok & I have'nt brought a dud! So buyers be aware that you may have to have this done.
We also purchased from this site a booklet "
HF RADIO FOR TRAVELLERS " this is a very informative booklet & I recommend it to anybody who has just purchased a
HF radio or who, like me, is trying to understand how to use these things.
