This is more a warrning than a question.
Owners of toyotas 1HZ 4.2 motor 80 and 100 series ,
check the oil return line from vacuum pump to top of your motor.
It is a hard line 8mm aprox.dia.It is held in place by only one bracket form factory between vac.pump and fuel inj. pump, and it is prone of droping the bracket bolt and cracking the line under prolonged exposure to corrugations and alike. Bloke i know lost all 9 l.of engine oil in 3 minutes. Only luck saved his pocket from major expenditure.Cheers

And you've got the cheek to hang it on Land Rovers. I hope one passes you while you're watching your oil line. BTW I dont own one.

Andrew, that oil leak can only happen to vehicles subjected to months of genuine off roading in hardest conditions on earth and even than its isolated and rare. There , you have nothing to be afraid about, your car is not capable to be exposed to such conditions.
go hide your big ugly head in the sand.It is easier that way.(i am being polite)

Hey Goran, lets keep the personal abuse out of this
forum mate, I too can sling bad facts about things, which can be of interest to
forum users, but the personal abuse should be left in the play ground.

Thanks for the warning, I'm sure that the Toyota drivers will appreciate it. I think this is the first objective post I have seen from you; one that does not sling mud or abuse at other drivers and their vehicles. Remember, you only establish the level of credibility that you deserve on this or any other
forum... Bill
