G'day Everyone
The "Warlu Way" or the
Tom Price road from the Great Norther Highway to
Tom Price is a fully sealed road, very nice drive actually.
This was Karijini Drive or the
Newman to
Tom Price road - now the "Warlu Way"
The Wittenoom road through
Rio Tinto Gorge is mainly unsealed, the bitumen seal is from the Munjina Roadhouse (Auski) to where the old Wittenoom town site access was previously, the road has been re-aligned to feed trourist traffic away from Wittenoom it self.
Rio Tinto Gorge has a sealed surface and its quite chooped up from flooding and heavy haulage transport and it is gravel from
Rio Tinto Gorge ~ Nanutarra Road ~ to where it feeds into the
Tom Price Road.
Karijini National Park road system has been adversly affected by seasonal rains, the park is open but only the bitumen access to Dales Gorge/
camp ground.
