Walkers Crossing

Route for driving between Birdsville and Innamincka through the flood plain country of the nothern overlow of the Cooper Creek before rising onto the Sturt Stony Desert on the Birdsville Track.

Hello all, does anyone know if Walkers Crossing is open, we are hoping to head out there next month.

Still closed.
The mining people built a new bridge at Walkers Crossing so they could get access. But I expect road damage between Walkers Crossing and the Birdsville Track is the reason the PAR is still closed.
