Just wondering where EO members in Perth might be spending their Easter Break.

I'm thinking of mooching up around Wongan Hills, Goomalling, maybe some of the granite outcrops east of those places, Beringbooding, or possibly south of the Gt Eastern Hwy around Bruce Rock.

Plenty to choose from but isolation may not be easy.

Hi Gone Bush,

Lots of luck trying to find isolation during the Easter break, I reckon it is worse then the Xmas school holidays period.

Me, I am headed for the Denmark area, it is the only time of the year I will concede to camp in a CP.

Have a happy Easter.

Regards

Gone Bush,

I really couldn't tell you, the wife made all the arrangements, I just wait for instructions from a higher source, then off I go.

We are heading towards the goldfields. Wanted to do the Coolgardie Kal loop for ages. This seems to be the best time of the year to go. Hoping the weather stays kind and doesn't get too cold during the night!

Towing the van to Wickham (near Karratha), leaving Easter Saturday, really looking forward to seeing the son, DIL and the grandkids and spending the school hols baby sitting for a couple of weeks. Not looking forward to the traffic, hopefully by Saturday most of the mass exodus will be wherever they want to be...lol.

Cheers

We figure Easter is a good time to stay off the roads - we won't be going away.

I tend to agree David, but the alternative is to stay at home in Mandurah and take the boat out.

Now THAT is a life and death situation. At least a drivers' licence sort of indicates some appreciation of rules and regulations, but a skippers' ticket? What a joke.

I also avoid the roads at Easter. As there is no ocean anywhere near me I will put some new beds in the van.

Skippers ticket!!! Mongrel dog DPI bastards. Been in boats (power and sail) all my life and suddenly I need a ticket. Next boat I get will be small and under 6hp. I refuse to get a ticket.

I will be out camping around Coolgardie - Kalgoorlie. Some nice spots and some remote spots.

Well, problem solved.

We are now doing Granpa and Nanna duties looking after our 18 month old grandson for a couple of days over Easter.
