Not sure if it would work but you can buy a gel type liquid that you apply to the inside of your goggles for snorkeling that stops them fogging up, may work???

To stop my goggles fogging up, I use good ol' fashion spit, never tried it on mirrors?

Yeah I hear you and do so myself but this stuff is supposed to work better.........I guess some people's spit works better an others ha ha!
Also didn't want to suggest spitting on his side mirrors.

Hi Blue
There is a product called Fog-x it's put out by the same mob as Rain-x we have truckies that buy it at work when they don't have mirror heaters. The cheapest place I've seen it was Big W.

Simple remedies are
1) Spit on it
2) Rub a raw potato on it

Old trucking remedies.

We use soap on the inside of the windscreen. Use a dry bar of soap. Smere it across the window then buff with a dry cloth. I suppose it would work on the side mirrors.
I have tried fog-x, didn't think much of it. The soap worked better.
