Some advice please.
I am heading west from
Cairns early in May to
Broome via
Karumba,
Darwin,
Katherine and then south along the WA coast. I have a 3m inflatable with 5.8hp motor which is used mostly for creek/river/
dam fishing. Is it worth thinking about taking it with considering croc and space issues?

I have taken a boat across and around this country a couple of times.
We will not go back to the
Kimberley without a boat, ever again. But when we do we will be there a couple of monthe, at least.
My advise is leave it
home......
Unless you have a particular spot that you KNOW
well and expect to spend a few weeks at.
Cheers,
Peter

At least your a boat rather than a tinny. A mate of mine has an inflatable boat and he deflates it when it is not being used. I don't know about other states but in W.A. but if the boat has a transom, it requires registering.
