I have recently purchased a new Nissan D40 dual Cab.
i have had a Canopy and draw system fitted into the rear, ARB bull bar to the front.
I feel the suspension is too soft.
I am a surfer / explorer, so i often used dirt roads, tracks and will probably do some beach driving.
Does anyone have any tips or recommendations for a good suspension system.

Cheers.

I had same problem with my D40. ARB fitted an OME upgrade all round - new schockers, coils and springs - the difference is amazing.
Go for it - cost a dollar or two but well worth it.

It's been a while since we had this fitted, but I think it was around $2K. Better to check with ARB.

There are a few choices out there.
I have an 80 series and have added
King springs
bilstein shocks
There is also Connies (spelling) shocks.
Not cheap though.

GO to an independant 4x4 bloke, and ask for Ride Pro Suspension Canadian version, (not chinese), and you may be able to get one.
I have had one of those systems put on my D22 Navara some years back ,and found it more than adequate

Cheers

In WA, try Rockingham Suspension off Dixon Rd. I had my Gu Patrol upgraded recently with 4 coils, 4 shocks & steering damper $1400. Best money I've ever spent. It made a remarkable difference.

A little OT, but I think you will find you're not NOT insured as insurance contracts on knowingly unroadworthy vehicles are null and void
