My 2002 3 ltr Turbo has a loud squeak coming from the Right hand front hub. The noise dissapears when I disengage the free wheeling hub. Should I be immediately concerned. I will book the car into Toyota on the 5th Jan.

Why not? It should be under the new car warranty!

Brett,
Had exactly the same problem with my 2002 petrol Hilux. Turned out that a spring had dislodged in the hub and was causing the squeak. Toyota fixed it in the following service, no parts needed.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Grant, I will suggest that to the Service guy. I can detect no other fault with the vehicle and it drives just the same so I hope all will be OK even though it is a company vehicle.
Thanks
Brett
