In the Great Sandy National
Park a track is shown that I believe is no longer open to the public. This track is shown as going to
Double Island Point by a left turn off the track to Lake Freshwater about 8km in from the bitumen. GPS 153.141 -25.953 I travelled the Freshwater track several times in June this year and the track to
Double Island Point is gated and locked. This is also true of the track from
the beach to
Double Island Point.
