Stop for a coffee and Muffin with Vic - '
mine host' - at the
Comet Gold
Mine about 6km south west of
Marble Bar. Excellent display of various rocks and history of the area. Swimming pool and Vic is currently preparing several mining houses for tourism. The
mine itself is off limits - but check this on the day. Very interesting walk back into yesterday. Very hospitable.
