Sandy Bay is one of THE suburbs of
Hobart, situated on the Western Bank of the Derwent River. Federal Hotels Wrest Point Casino, the first Casino in Australia, is located here for those who wish to gamble their hard earnt money away.
Sandy Bay contains all the shops you need, restaurants, hotels etc etc.
Sandy Bay is a starting point for a trip down the Channel to suburbs of
Kingston, Blackmans Bay, and a round trip which can end up in the Huon Valley.
