Spent a wonderful two days/nights at
Lake Mungo and were fortunate enough to watch the full moon rising over
the Walls of China while the sun set in the west - fantastic!
The whole area is very interesting - allow half a day for the 70 km self-guided drive as there are lots of different stops. During school holidays local indigenous guides provide in-depth commentary on guided walks and slide shows. Very worthwhile.
