My Place Rating: My Rating 5/5

Pilot Hill Arboretum was planted in the early 1923-4 to see what species would be best suited to 'farm' in the Australian climate. Most of the trees have name plates and it is a good couple of hours to get around them all. There is quite a good size clearing in the middle and it is very peaceful to lay and look at all the different pine tree shapes and structures. No facilities whatsoever. Google Earth shows Pilot Hill Arboretum at 35*37'12.50"S 148*08'39.91"E
