My Place Rating: 
We stayed at the
waterhole in April 2008. It's a very open area with few trees,
public toilet. At the time we stayed, there about 5 other vans and felt quite safe in leaving our van there while seeing the sites of
Longreach and surrounds. We would recommend it for a stop over for a few days.
