My Place Rating: 
A very popular spot during the dry season. Service station, small
supermarket, Club bar and bistro open each evening. Powered sites available or
bush camping on river bank.
Most people who come to King Ash Bay do so for the fishing. There is a very extensive river system with many openings to the Gulf. Although there can be good fishing from the river bank, a boat is required to really take advantage of the area.
