Highlights we missed this week from the gossip as we stood talking with other travellers and waiting to cross A) An old boy drove into the Coopers seems the ferry was on the other side B) We missed Dick Smith being our Ferryman by one day.
Water is now 5 metres in the middle. The detour is a good,
well graded road. It is a little bit sandy on the
Birdsville side in a couple of place.
