Have just got back from the Track.
Heading north we had a 2 hour delay but not because of the queue - we were 4th in line, but because one of the road gang had a heart attack and died at the site. The ferry operator was the 1st Aid Officer for the area so was a little busy. There was also a paramedic in the queue but nothing could be done. The wait was for a chopper to come from
Marree with medical help and police. Once the ferry got going again we were over in 40 minutes.
