Good morning All
Ive replaced the 12 bushes_cushions between the body and chassie on my 92, 80 series.I have been to Toyota, Suspension specalists and numerous other off road companys yet no one can tell me how much tenchion to put on the bolts after replacement.I can get information on pollyurathine lift kits but not the original rubber bushes as no one seems to have had the experience to replace them as yet There is no information in the work shop manual.. Any help or information would be appreciated
Regards

Gday
When these bolts are done up, they end up home steel to steel, with the rubber supporting the body having a steel inner. The bolts are roughly 12mm, so i would say going by their size, 40-50nm. It is impossible to squash thew rubbers too much, overtightening will either break the bolt or strip the thread.
