Talbot is indeed a superb
Rock Hole. This most picturesque spot was named after government geologist HWB
Talbot the discoverer of the site.
Sadly access is barred nowadays subject to a management plan. It's hoped that access to the
Rock Hole and the whole of the
Carnarvon Range area will be allowed again in the near future.
