An enjoyable walk, but the advice I'd give to anyone is even in summer, take a jacket even if it is hot in Thredbo you will need some protection from the wind chill - significantly cooler at the top than in the valley. Advice from the locals is 'if you can make the extra few km's and enjoy walking - leave from Charlotts Pass to bypass the hordes of people on the walkway from Thredbo and you will be more likely to see some wildlife on the walk.'
