Review: Wuruma Dam - QLD

The lake is full to the brim, attracting birdlife, kangaroos, hares, rabbits, and brown snakes which are on the move at this time of year. Toilets on the hill behind the camping area, but otherwise you need to be independent (dump point/water at Eidsvold or Monto).Dam water for laundry from a tap at the toilets. Plenty of shade and cool breezes, pleasant even in the middle of summer, 90% of the time. Quiet and peaceful during the week, the locals frequent the place on weekends.
