Suggestions for family trip

Hi everyone,

We are located near Camden , have a 2004 Nissan Patrol Diesel and are looking for suggestions for a day trip. I have owned 4wd's for the past 25 years and have good offload experience , alot of places are nw locked with my favourite place being Yalwal, any ideas?

Cheers Rob.

Anywhere around Lithgow is good. Mt Walker never disappoints.

Abercrombie River National Park is good as well. Some nice steep tracks and camp spots.

Second Abercrombie River National Park via Wombeyan Caves Road from Mittagong ( not far from Camden area ) and also a visit to Yerranderrie ( good for a look around the old town and good National Park free camp to stay overnight if you wanted to make it a two dayer ) Return via the range fire trail from Mt Werong to Wombeyan Caves

Cheers Dennis
