Hi all could anyone tell me the condition of the balladonia to
esperance

In Oct 2011 the
Esperance end was good but the northern end was a bit rough . Pot holes and exposed
rock but no trouble if driven at appropiate speed , I was in 4WD Rodeo

I was out there a week or so ago but only traveled south as far as the Mt Ragged turnoff. that section was pretty good with the odd rough patch and the obvious evidence that it would be tricky after rain and maybe subject to closures.

Travelled down there last year, road was pretty good and Northern end was a bit rough. Would not like to try it after some rains though.
There's a good stopover at Deralinya cottage. An old stone cottage gradually being repaired by a couple of guys from
Esperance (I think). Can
camp in the house if not occupied and has long drop as
well!
