Hi all,
New to Explore Oz and loving it so far :-)
Just wordering if anyone knows if it still possible to drive down to the Cox's river
campground at the swing
bridge. I did walk the Six foot track a couple of years back and there was no locked gates than. But every other good track has some form of
gate on it.
Any info would be great.
Hope all are having a great
easter break.
Thanks Sean

You can drive to it from
Hampton following the Six Foot Track, or from Cox's River Rd which runs off the highway just past the lolly
shop at Little Hartley. If going from the highway, then you do have to open and shut a few gates. If coming from
Hampton then there are no gates. You have to drive over a few creeks that can be pretty full sometimes but it is a nice spot. Cheers

As far as I know, you can drive all the way down to the
camp ground from the Jenolan end (Black Range Rd?). I haven't done it since the middle of last year. There were no gates at all coming from that direction and you end up in a dead end car park a short walk to the swing
bridge. When you come back out, you can take the first track to the right and it goes to Cox's River Rd where you have to open and shut 2 gates. It is a public road though.
