Does anyone know if 16x8 5 stud landcruiser rims (op 5 on 150mm ) fit correctly on a 2008 VDJ78R TROOPIE.

They have to be off a rigid front axle (105series) Landcruiser. These went from 1998 to 2006 and had the 6 cyl petrol and normally aspirated diesel motors.
IFS rims from the fcatory TD and petrol V8 Landcruisers will not fit.
I expect you'll need flares.

Sad,ey.
One of Toyota's best stuff ups.
Going from a "fit all" 6 stud to that 5 stud "one make only" configuration will make sure i keep the old 75 series of mine going a long while yet.

Gday Mike,
Hate to tell you but most 6 stud rims out there will not fit your 75series.
They may have the same 6 stud pattern but the offset and centre hole differences means they won't fit or will reduce the track. The 40 and 60 series and very early hilux are the only factory rims that share the same offset as your 75series.

The 5 stud has a higher clamp pressure than the 6 stud because the studs are 14mm rather than 12mm, so they are less likely to break studs or come loose.

When i was looking for rims for my 2008 VDJ78 Troopy I came across the rims as per the above photo and I sure the steering linkage fouled up from those rims being used.

Yes, the IFS rims have 60mm offset and the fronts will push up tight against the tie rod ends. The rears push against the leaf springs, so won't fit front or rear.
RFA 105series rims are zero offset (same as the factory 79series mags).
