An interesting video showing many of the
places along the route taken by Burke and Wills expedition in the 1860's before they perished near Innaminka.
It shows road conditions in varying weather,
camp sites, historical markers and more as we follow the tag-a-long group from
Melbourne through to the Gulf of Carpentaria.
It would be useful to anyone interested in undertaking a trip in some or all the footsteps of Burke and Wills or to anyone interested in European Australian exploration of the interior.
