Here ya go >>

Bourke Shire Council Road Condition Report

and

Central Darling Shire Council Road Condition Report

When you get to Bourke, check at the Visitor Centre, they should have up-to-date information...
If the river run is still closed when you get there, you still have the Cobar option..
(good fast bitumen road last time I was on it;-))

The road from Bourke to Wilcannia is closed on both sides of the river lots of flood water still about and will be for some time. You may need to take a detour via Cobar.

Mind you, that detour isn't too bad. Just get to see different country :-)

You can get as far as Louth and then you have to go down to Cobar and across on the Barrier. The Louth - Cobar and Bourke - Louth Road are ok at the moment, I was down there Monday.
