We are planning a trip taking in the eastern section of the
Madigan Line from
camp 16 to
Birdsville during July.
After a wet summer and early autumn I am concerned about the
Eyre Creek crossing. I wondered if anyone knows if Eyre Creek can be crossed near
camp 20 or
Kuddaree Waterhole.

Camp 20 is under water out in the middle of the
waterhole somewhere, we crossed at the regular crossing point and it was bone dry last week.

Peter is spot on, we crossed the Eyre Creek about 14k's below campspot 20 and then back west again at the northern wet weather crossing and back west again at the southern crossing. So crossings are mainly dry except at the northern most points.

Thanks Peter , good to hear and we can still go ahead with our trip plans by the sound of it. Would you have crossed at about the same place Blaze mentioned in his follow up 14k south of
camp 20?
Cheers,
Tony
