Hello Everybody,

Short question.
Passing through Hillston on Wednesday on the way home to Deniliquin, would like to now if anyone has an idea of a good camping spot along the Lachlan River for 2 days. Coming from Bourke.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Allan

Don't know anything about camping in the area but the bakery is a must.

We bought smoko there and ate it out of town. Had to drive back in just to add a few goodies to the larder LOL

A lovely clean place

Please don't miss Billabourie. 38 kms north of Hillston and 10kms off the road. $20 a night.

Great amenities, right on the river, open fires with fire wood and very friendly people.

We loved it when we stayed last year.
