Only one more sleep & we're off on our first van trip..not the one we planned, which
was the Pilbara via Plenty & GCR. Decided to postpone due to closures & road
conditions, mostly in Karijini NP.
Anyway, plan B is a month via the Murray, Mallee, Yorke Peninsula, Coorong, &
Great Ocean Rd. Some seen before, a lot will be new.
Preparations have included Trans Cooler, Stone Stomper, all serviced inc brakes
& bearings....just need to add grog & tucker. Got the childbride a laptop to play
with when she tires of knitting, so all should be good.
We are appreciative of the good advice given on EO & have acted on much of it
for this trip...keep the place tidy while we're away, wont you?
cheers.....oldbaz.

Have a great trip baz. Lots to see and do where you're headed.

BTW some up to date info for all contemplating the Plenty.
Had a mate and his cousin come across it from Alice last weekend, and he said it was in was in excellent condition, with lots of grading taking place. They were also able to get fuel at Tobermory, I am not sure if it was petrol or diesel as I didn't think to ask, but can find out if anyone wants to know.

We expect periodical reports and pics baz. stay safe, and as I said, have a great trip.

Tomorrow does come oldbaz but it is called today when it gets here. I thought you had gone but since you haven't I'll take this opportunity to wish you a great trip. I'm sure that you will enjoy. Your must have a wife like mine. Ruth knits trauma teddies as we travel and does free cell and jigsaw puzzles on her computer at night.
Let me know if you would like company on the Plenty and GCR if you go next year. We have similar plans.
All the best,
Kevin

Was wondering when you were coming over this way Oldbaz, sorry you are not going to get this far. We love the Yorke Peninsula, have been there a number of times to stay with friends down the bottom of the Peninsula.
Enjoy your trip and stay safe, maybe another time you will make it to the West and maybe near Perth. LOL
