Saw a computer and had to say hi to all . Weather up here on the Goldcoast is great and getting ready to go to Straddy in the next few days , I wish I took the advice of some and not gone down the Pacific Hwy , it was a shocker. But happy that I did take up another bit of advice and saw
Hat head . What a great place , will also drop in on the way
home for a
beach drive .
Hope to see some Explore oz stickers on the beach ,

Hat Head. just a word of advise though. Be carful where you go onto the beach there as they are pretty strict about beach driving. The mob up there are big on dune control. The locals will be the best guide. also if you go to the "Club" ask them about a game of golf at their golf track. you wont find it without local knowledge. :-). There is a great little drive from
Hat head to crescent head too keeping close to the beach .At least I think it is still open. Now all my secrets are out ..damn!

Man... you shoulda drove the Pacific Highway a few years ago.... wasn't known as the "Goat Track" for nothing........... LOL

staying at diamond beach resort at the moment in Broadbeach, should be at Straddy on Sunday Morning
if you see my Cruiser around the Number plate is TUF 080 , its a green /black 80 series with a 5 inch lift , easy to spot

I'll keep an eye out and say g'day if I see you...
I get to drive the Misti Express for work, ladders on the roof and "Arctic" stickers on the side panels.... Mrs Brian drives our Patrol on a daily basis.

Thanks for all your kind words and bits of info , The Pacific Hwy was ok , exept for 2 points where there still finishing of the bipass , traffic was banked for 1 hr
