This is a
great camp site. Its right on the Edge of the
Murray River with plenty of
camp sites. No fees and has
toilets. It is not hard to find just ask the information centre or anyone in town. Caught 2 cod 700mm and 500mm on cheese! Access is EASY given the rain we have had,even though the info centre advises 4 wheel drive only. Not true!

Just had a few days in
Echuca and had problems trying to find a Pet friendly C/P to stay in that was close to town. We ended up about 8k out at the Riverlander which was a nice place but even they are converting to permanent Cabin/full time sites so that one will not be suitable soon either. Bob

Vern, I have seen big vans at Christies. It depends on which track you take to get into the river as there are beautiful old gum trees everywhere. I would call into the onfo centre in
Echuca and ask them for directions etc.OR ask a local its
well known to them. There is a large camping
shop in the main street,can't think of its name,that sold me a small inexpensive book that gives track details for the whole of the Murray. It was about $5.00 ! and yes lots of riverside camps,
Easter might be a bit tight. 'We were told by the info ctre that 4 wheel drive was necessary.Its a we bit rough in patches but nothing really,
