How much to store your van in a park?

Given that many people seem to store their vans, whilst heading off to locations that would not be suitable for a van, I wondered what an average cost of storage would be and also, do many parks have the space available?

Cheers

Ian,
that is a pretty hard question to answer as it will depend on the location and wether the park has a storage paddock or extra unused space.

What I mean by location is where the park is located to a major point of interest. For example Bungle Bungles or when the Birdsville races are on.

The time of year will also dictate the price.

We have paid $3 and $5 a night to store our van and both times it was out of harms way. I have also seen prices of $20 a night.

Quilpie van park even placed it back on a site after we had been away for over 2 weeks. They did this off their own back That was very nice of them as we arrived back late.

You will have to check with individual parks for their prices.

I'm leaving my van at Pt Smith whilst I travel to Cape Leveque.
At this time of year the storage at Pt Smith is $50 per week.
In Perth you can pick up storage for about $20 per week
