Also, I guess this is a typo in the description, think we dropped a 0 somewhere

My guess would be about 30-50 Lumens per LED. At a maximum

Lumens is a measure of light output at the source, better off measuring in lux.

1 Lux is about enough to read with.

I mentioned Lumens as that is the figure mentioned on other LED devices we have purchased. It would give me a better idea of light produced, even though the the dispersement will be different.

The light dispersement I would like inside a tent is different to that outside the tent.

I guess they cannot provide all the information, in the limited advertising space available, buyers might want.

30 - 50 is a pretty broad spread.

I have just heard back from the supplier that the light output is approx. 950 Lumens/8w.
