Review: Hema Navigator 6

My Shop Item Rating: My Rating 4/5

Very happy with the HN6 Navigator but the mount not really suitable for my LC100, also it would have been nice to have a 240V / USB charger included as the battery capacity is very low. Street mapping with large and clear fonts but with expected small program errors. The OziExplorer screen sharp and clear and will be a great help in months to come.
Going to take a bit of time to get fully acquainted with all the mapping features but so far so good.

Can I ask why you went for the Hema and not VMS700?
I have been looking at both and cannot decide.

1. I like OziExplorer 2. I feel a larger screen would hamper vision fwd

Clarrie,

This mob make a number of mounts.

I have a number of these on my vehicles, and they leave no marks. I then mount whatever I want onto the surface.

My HN 5 battery lasts a long time, but picture is difficult to view if too much light is on the screen.

Thanks for mount link, i will look them up. The HN6 spec battery life is 2 hrs. There is a sunshade sold as an accessory.

Carrie, I had trouble with my Hema because there was a faulty connection. It was brand new and we were travelling. Hema was fantastic. Mailed me a new one to a nominated post office. Not a moment's trouble after that. The battery gave very good service.Mine was the 5, not the latest model. I agree that the mount doesn't suit the LC100 too well but I would still buy a Hema again. Hope you can sort the battery out. Megan

I knew about the battery life before purchase. I do like the HEMA product.
