evakool fridge rv 25/35L?

howdy all, I've just noticed in bcf stores in sa there's a new evakool being sold, looks like it's meant to copy the layout of an engel fridge, but I haven't seen them anywhere else, there's not even any details on the evakool website. has anyone heard anything about them at all? here's a link to the bcf site. http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/products/Evakool-Rv-Fridge-Freezer-35L.aspx?pid=321826#Similar

Looking at the price it may be a cheaper version to compete on $$$$ with the competition.

Check to see what compressor they are using in it. Others including Waeco have their dearer Danfross compressor range and also a cheaper range with a Chinese compressor, I was told by their rep that they have a shorter warranty and do use more power to run

So they might be doing a similar thing?

Hi tdhilux,

This does not look like a REAL EVAKOOL fridge/freezer to me. We own an Evakool 47 ltr and the new 40 ltr fridge, they are made in Caloundra Queensland and don't look anything like the one you have looked at.
Go to: evakool .com to see their real products.

Evakool has a new range of fridge/freezers coming out - B1 I think it is called. Has a Danfross compressor and built in voltage switch. I have ordered the 30l model.

typos, typos: that should be Danfoss, the model is 1B and the one I have ordered is 31 litres.
