Hello All,
I was wondering if there are any members/companies that are able to teach/use the Raster Maps that I keep reading about on the forum. I know how to use a GPS but was wondering how to use these raster maps. I know from talking to people "on the road" that although some of them have them set up on their PC's and GPS's, no one can tell me how they work or how to install them, as "they were put on by a mate" and I haven't a clue.
Is there anything available out there where they can train you how to set up & use these maps?

Hello

The Chart and Map shop in Fremantle run courses on how to use OziExplorer and the Hema Naviagtor (which could be useful for people who use Ozi on other similar units I suppose).

OziExplorer Training - Chart and Map Shop

I suspect some of the 4WD clubs have "training" days but dont know who, when or where.

No worries,

While your waiting download the Trail/Demo version of OziExplorer and have a play.

Since you are a fellow Sandgroper...PM me with your postal address and I will post a few freely available digital mapsets to get you going.

Cheers
