We are heading across to Alice Springs on Friday 25th leaving from Perth. Planing to take around 10 days to get there.

You are welcome to check out My Blog here for travelogues from our 2008 trip where we spent five weeks in and around Alice Springs and a further visit to the area in 2009. These may help you choose what appeals to you, then you can ask further questions about these places.

Which way are you coming from? I have blogs on the Tanami, the Gary Junction Road, the Central and the Stuart Highway to Darwin and on to Mount Isa. We have not travelled the Stuart Highway between the Finke River Bridge south of Alice and Pimba, nor the Plenty.
