Hi All,

Just wondering If there is any publications out there about what you need to take on a trip around Australia.I know everyone has different ideas on what to take and what to leave at home.Just want to know what is absolutely necessary, have a fair idea but would like some experienced travellers advice.

BCF have a checklist in there stores as to what you should take camping. Admitedly not all would apply to everyone, but it can be a start to making your own list.

Other things to look at would be spares for the car etc.

Hi Stephen

Most of us take way too much. I had a basic list when tent camping - and although it has grown a little since progressing to the present full caravan for longer term travelling, the only real necessity to me over and above the original is computer with internet.

I hope you will be having some trial runs - you will soon find what you really don't need, and you may need to purchase what you have forgotten when you need it.
