beGPS -Tracker for BlackBerry Smartphones

All current and many older BlackBerry® Handhelds are equipped with a GPS Receiver or can be linked to a stand alone GPS Receiver via Bluetooth.

Hi Marg,

I had a Blackberry Pearl running beGPS through to the EOTrackMe site. I have the settings screen-captured for this device if you have any trouble.

not sure whether my oetrackMe will be of any benefit in the Simpson desert?
Has anyone had problems on this? Or will I be the first?

Hi Marg,

In reference to your follow up above, the program will work, however it will only submit tracking when you have phone/internet reception. When you don't, the program will store the tracking data and submit it once you do have reception. This means that although the tracking won't be "live" most of the time it will still be an accurate depiction of where you've been.

If you are looking to have live tracking you need to have a satellite tracking device - for example a SPOT 2 .
