Mate the last rain at the top end of the Canning (Halls Creek) was 50mm at Halls over a month ago. About 140mm over March and a fraction more over Feb.Halls Creek Shire don't have it marked as closed nor do Main Roads WA. Nothing on the anfwdc website to the contrary.

Why don't you ring Halls Shire Council tomorow. They should be able tro provide up to the minute information.

Cheers Mick

Thanks Mick

I've looked and all seems to be good. I was just looking at this site and does say it's open then the link does say it's impassable from well 40.

Thanks for your help

Cheers Andrew

I've been talking off and on over the last weeks (via HF radio) with VKS737 members doing the CSR - I don't recall anyone mentioning difficulty with wet conditions.
