Hi all,i'm heading to Alice Springs from Brisbane next week,and thought i might travel the plenty hwy for something diferent.
Anyone here been through there recently? And could give me a road report please.
Will be in a ranger4x4.

Yeh found the reports etc and have got different reports (opinions) on the plentys condition.
Just looking for someone who's done it quite recently.

Hi Roughnut

I did the Plenty about 4 weeks ago. I have GU with a lift and encountered no probs. Tyres at 25psi (285's) and it was a very ok road I thought. I do like dirt driving. It may (or may not) have some corro's by now and I have no idea what the weather has done. Good easy camping at Georgina if you are planning a spot.
