Road closed at Blackall

G'day all.
The road is closed 42 km South of
Blackall and no-one can advise when it will be opened.
It has been closed since late last night when a hilux nearly got wahsed off the road.
There is quite a collection of road trains and other vehicles waiting for it to open.

Is that the
Blackall to Advale rd or the Landsborough Highway?
That area has had 50+mm of rain in the past 36 hours so I think the Advale road will be closed for a few days.
The DMR website has the next review of the Landsborough Highway as 4 Jun 2012.

It's the Landsborough Hwy.
I think they are going to fill in the pot holes on the bridge that has been out of action for the past 2 yrs and let the cars through,, but it could still be hours before that happens.
We are getting more cars lining up ,but no trucks, I think they are stopping them at Barcy to prevent on great traffic jam when the road reopns.
The bridge has been out for 2yrs and it's the side road that is the problem at the moment, or at least that is the info I am getting.
