Has anyone had or used a roadpro 12v Slow cooker. It looks quite good but has some bad reviews.

I have never used one so can't comment. I would be looking at a dream pot or similar. I would think the roadpro is going to use a lot of power and not very economically. Just a thought.

I think you may be right on the money their Josh.
It is all about watts and the only way to get watts is to add volts to amps or in this case, amps to volts.
Cheers, Bruce.

Thanks for your replies. We have a motorhome with solar and house batteries and I was thinking of plugging into the vehicle battery and cooking in slow cooker while we were travelling. Will rethink and take your comments onboard.

If you only use it while travlleing - ie: engine running - you might be OK
Keep vehicle movement in mind, too - or you might get stew everywhere

Hi Eldav,
We have sold hundreds of RoadPro items to travelers.
The RaodPro slow cooker is best used for the purpose you've suggested. E.g. Whilst traveling.
If the slow cooker is hooked up the way that it is suppose to it should be fine! Cooking whilst driving is its design purpose.
