Hi folks,

I have an oil leak from my oil pressure relief valve (1HZ) and thought I may as well replace the whole thing while I'm doing the gasket. I had. O troubles removing the plug and spring but can't get (or even see) the valve itself.

If anyone has done this before it would be great to hear how you got it out!

Cheers
Charlie

Changer, I've always found a pair of long-reach external circlip pliers, slid up inside the hollow of the valve, and then expanded to grip the tubing of the valve, works for me.

Cheers - Ron.

If it wont come out easily I would leave it. It may have a carbon build up at the top end of it. If you get it down part way and it jams you may cause more problems than it's worth. Cheers, Bob.

Undo the cap, take tyhe spring out, then do the cap up b4 starting the motor for a few seconds only. When you undo, the poppet will be against the cap
