Hi,
My wife and I are planning a trip and are wondering what the road is like from
Menindee to Ivanhoe, and also the turn off from Darnick heading south to
Pooncarie or Mungo ?
See that the
Menindee to
Pooncarie road is currently closed and unlikely to be open soon.
Hoping some one can help.
Cheers.
Craig.

I drove up the
Pooncarie to
Menindee road last week. I went to as far as possible which was about 20km short of
Menindee. The road is completely cut by an enormous wash out. The road crews were there and working on it but as you say it will be a while before they open the road. I spent 2 days camping on the Darling near
Harcourt Station and saw 2 vehicles over the entire time.

Hi Skip,
Thanks mate... Yes.. I thought that would be the case... This is why I am hunting for information on the
Menindee Ivanhoe Road and also the south turn from Darnik to Mungo.
Basically we need to get to
Menindee to Mungo N.P.
Cheers.
Craig.
