I think everyone is over it but just for interest a poll from optusnet. Seems most poeple think it's not as bad as some are saying (combining 1 and 3).
Don't shoot the messenger!

definitely a 3 *NOW*... up until a few months ago i thought he was a complete twit

after seeing a couple of documentaries on him (real docos - not the oh crikey! ones) australian story, etc

he has done a lot for world conservation and he is prepared to put his money where his mouth is... unlike most large multi nationals Steve Irwin Inc dumps a fair chunk of its profits back into conservation

my 2 cents

cheers,

KG

I vote number 3. Still waiting for an explanation of the mechanism of any injury that bubby Bob might have sustained. Most of the response seems reactionary rather than plausable. Saying that Steve might have fallen over and hit Bobby's head, or that he might have dropped him, or that the croc could leap up and snatch Bobby seems pretty far fetched to me - particularly with the Croc on land. If they could do that nobody would go into the pen in the first place. And I can't believe a croc would think "that baby looks yummy but his Dad is too big so I will go for the little fella."My Toy - 2001 Landcruiser 100S Turbo Diesel

I vote number 3. I think Mr Tojo forced our Steve to use very young Bob to be included in soon to be released advertising campaign. Mr Tojo seems to think Toyota owners enjoy being linked to Steve's unique genre. Geez, get off his back. We love you Steve.
